Bricking it!

If I were any less a cool calm collected man about town than I am, I would probably need to wear a nappy. The procrastination is over, the relocation to Leeds is afoot. My DVD showreel is finally at a tollerable level of completeness... I could of course fiddle with it till the end of time, but the old bank account is in no fit state for any of that malarky. That by the way is what I've been engrossed in this last week if anyone was wondering why I'd gone silent again. My CV is polished with an acceptable amount of bullshit. So it's time to post the fuckers.

But before I do that, I need to get on the phone to ask who I ought to address each one to... I simply don't do phones, I suppose the primary reason this post is being written is to put off the churning stomach, clamy palms and shakey voice for a few more minutes. Yes, I could just stick 'Dear Sirs' on my covering letter and address it to the company, but I NEED a job, so I have to do everything possible to maximise whatever slim chance I have.

Then, I need to post them all, hoping I don't do something stupid like put the wrong name on the covering letter! Then comes the wait... will I get any responses? What if I do, what if I dont? Which is worse? Crumbs chief!

Awesome, now. To top everything off, I've just tripped over my laptop cable...which means I'll have to dismatle the fucking thing again to re-solder the power socket cos it's not now taking in any charge... Story of my life.

Well that's the phone calls done with. I'm now an adrenaline-buzzing nervous wreck attempting to calm down with a nice cuppa. I simply don't DO phones! But I have names now, in most cases anyhow.

Ugh!!! Dumb fuck that I am, got everything printed, boxed, enveloped and sealed, only to realise I'd forgot to sign a single fucking covering letter. It's all sorted now though, but that's it for me today. Twenty little packages will be winging their way Leeds-wards on the morrow. Good bloody riddance too.
